The new site has been up for a little over a week and we have received more than 2500 visitors, averaging about 250 per day, with our greatest day being 444. The forums have improved with about 15 members and 18 posts.
I have just finished coding the database control for the news posts and it is fully functional, making it easier to post, edit, or delete previous posts. I plan on finishing the Contact and Submissions page tomorrow which will allow anybody to contact me at webmaster@nsibyc.com for comments or suggestions, or allow the user to upload any file that contributes to Iceboating. The site core is just about finished being programmed and the site is just about ready to be settled in.
Thanks goes out to Henry Bossett for sharing his pictures which are now in the updated Pictures of the Day section, and Bill Comella for his suggestions and contributions to the Safety pages.

It's been three days since our updated site has been released, with well over 800 visitors from then. Some of these people come from places such as England, Russia, Germany, Italy, and Poland. It's no doubt we have grown to become a respectable club online throughout the years.
As far as the webpage is concerned, I have been working to make the page even more efficient and useful. For example, at the bottom of the page contains how many people are viewing the page at the moment. Pretty soon, the page should become self-maintained leading to ease of updating and use.
The forum, however, has been lacking. Although people go there, nobody posts. So, please, take the time to sign up as a member and contribute by either asking questions, telling stories, or posting anything that has to do with Iceboating.
The news video is slowly coming along, but I assure you, it will be up.

Revamped website officially launched today.
The ice hasn't been better in nearly 3 years, and conditions are great. We have been receiving some press coverage lately from such sources as the Asbury Park Press, being host on the front page today, as well as news casts such as NJ12 and CN8.
In the event you miss these segments, they will be posted on the page within a short time.
