NSIBYC | Hudson River

 

North Shrewsbury Ice Boat and Yacht Club
 

-> Garden State Parkway to exit 109. 

-> East on Why 520 ( Newman Springs Road )  To Red Bank.

-> Travel East on Hwy. 520 to the “T” intersection….
      Off  Broad Street & Hwy. 520.  Appx 2  ¼ miles.

-> ( On this corner you will find a Dunkin Donuts on the Right…
      and the Rail Road Tracks on the Left. )

-> Make a Left turn  onto Broad Street.  ( northbound )

-> Travel North on Broad Street ( appx 1 ¼ miles )
      until it comes to the “T” intersection of Front Street.

-> At Front Street make a Right Turn ( Eastbound )

-> Travel appx 50 yards and make a left turn onto Wharf Ave.
      head towards the river.

-> Go one block and make a Left turn onto Union Street.

-> Go to the bottom of the hill.  The NSIBYC is the smaller of the two
      boat clubs within the fenced in area on your right….  On the river.

 

Hudson River

-> Exit 19 at Kingston NY

-> 28 West to 209 E following signs to Rhinecliff Bridge

-> Cross Hudson River on the Rhinecliff Bridge -- view to Rhinecliff is to
      your south (right) as you cross bridge.

-> At first traffic light across bridge, turn right (South) onto River Road
     - County Road 103

-> Three miles or so you come to a stop sign -- bear right onto Rhinecliff
      Road - Route 308 and continue into hamlet of Rhinecliff

-> Just past low point in road that leads to lower entrance to AMTRAK
     station, is upper parking lot entrance -- turn RIGHT here

-> Cross bridge over RR tracks and go left down ramp to the public dock
      in Rhinecliff -- launch here

-> Please obey parking restrictions after you unload -- try not to block
     the fire dept. standpipe while unloading
