Here we are again, the beginning of September and winter is just around the corner.  What a great winter we had with Jim Hadley winning the Van Nostrand Cup and Dan Clapp winning the ISA.  Just think Dan, only another 7 or 8 more wins and you’ll catch Bill Matson (HA! HA!). 

If you have a project and want to use the club please use the sign-up sheet.  Remember to move in and out in a timely fashion and clean up after yourselves.

Speaking of projects, I am rebuilding Rick Stavola’s old “A” Skeeter and making it a slant back for Rob Marsh of Maryland (an old club member who’s come back).  Dan Clapp is rebuilding Rick Disbrow’s new “A” Skeeter into a slant back for Rick Stavola.  Both projects should be well under way by October.  Now is the time to  

GET GOING if you want to be ready this winter.

My big wish for this year is lots of great home ice.  A bonus would be sailing again for the Van Nostrand Cup. Hopefully we have both and lots of activity at the club.

Our meetings are the first Thursday of the month at 8:00 pm starting in September and ending in April.  All are welcome.  So let’s THINK ICE and get ready for the new season.
